By saying this you confess not going there, for if you've ever been to /b/ you'd know that once a thread reaches page 15 they are deleted, and after 300 posts or so the thread won't get bumped anymore, making it fall to the page 15 in about 1 minute.

I have actually read that it prevents STDs... but that is no doubt propaganda from the 50's when it was common practise for everyone to be circumcised in the States or Canada. Even if this were true, who actually has sex with someone who could have an STD, without a condom? Sounds like a silly concept, and it probably only instills people with a false sense of security.

Personally, I'm intact. Some people say it feels better when cut, others say it doesn't. I guess the only reliable sources are those who were circumcized in later years, most say it feels worse.

Anyway, I don't see why people take this so personally. It's not as if any of us had a choice. My brother is circumcized only because of an infection he had as a wee infant.

It doesn't prevent STD's, not by a long run, but it does reduce the chance.
