This is the final of the Nations Cup 2014. Scandinavia vs Russia.

Never before has the Nations Cup seen a repeat champion but Russia have the chance to achieve that feat tonight. Scandinavia also have the chance to be the first combined nation team to lift the trophy. In either case, Warband history will be made tonight. Russia took a narrow second in their group to the United Kingdom before finding their feat and dominating terrifying giants of the scene Poland and Turkey. Scandinavia always went into this with low expectations but took a surprising first place in their group beating out former champions Germany and favourites Ukraine with relative ease. After a sketchy scrape past unpredictable neighbours Finland, Scandinavia swept aside the United Kingdom for their spot in the final. If there's one thing we've learnt already it's that cold countries make the best Warbanding nations but the best nation of 2014 is something no one can call at this moment. It is something that will be decided in battle. Tonight. In 20 minutes. LIVE ON MB_tv at 18:00 GMT.

A few comments on the stream quality

1. The voices of the casters were too low. Especially in the interview where I couldn't hear the russian lads at all. Pitch the sound way up Lust (the caster sound not the ingame sound)

2. QUALITY OPTIONS FOR GOD'S SAKE

3. Try to make the co-caster, you know, cast or analyze something. I know you like casting it by yourself but I wanted AZAN analysis too.

4. Also try to improve on the quality if you can.

I would like to point out some aspects of the streaming aswell:

- First of all, the Camera, i know you want to have the whole fight in the view but there's a minimap that shows where players are and i think having a close-up of some fights\"duels" would be more entertaining. My suggestion would be: show how the teams engage for 5-6 seconds and then move the camera towards a particular fight instead of having it far away. Also, there were few times where the last players were fighting and the camera was watching a guy sitting on the flags or another point where nothing was happening.
- Roles: This point is basically what Dasvi said, i haven't really watched the whole streaming but i'd say that keeping one guy for the analysis, usually the co-caster, and one for the play by play and other stuff.
- Hype & Silence: There were too many moments were none was speaking and during a streaming silence is something you don't want to have at all, also voices were way too low and there weren't many emotions when you were speaking, which made at least for me watching the fights and the streaming a bit boring.

My suggestion would be: try to improve on the play by play putting more emphasis on it, trying to get the hype, and by using the roles system you can have the caster speaking during the fights meanwhile when the fight is over or hasn't started yet the analyst can talk about what went wrong\good on the previous spawn, or just talking about the class composition and everything similar to this.

Anyway thanks for the streaming, it was nice to have the NC14's final covered!

Just so ya'll know, Quality Options aren't entirely controlled by the streamer. Twitch needs to grant streamers the ability to use quality options, and from what I know, it's usually based on the regularity and popularity of the stream. So MB_tv would probably have to stream a few times a week and regularly get at least 50 viewers to get quality options.

That's what Eman does best!
But I like the more composed and knowledgable approach from Azan aswell. I don't think you should try and sound hyped if that's not your personality. Then it just doesn't come off well.
I really appreciate all the great personalities we have had as broadcasters. I think each one is interesting in their own way. Coming from a perhaps less experienced player's point of view, I learn alot from listening to a vet like Azan, but Eman is great with his energy and enthusiasm.

I imagine it must be really hard to keep up with all the fights taking place at once. We need something like HL-tv for Bannerlord IMO. Would be epic!

I love the way spectating works in Dota 2. Really top notch work done by Valve on that front.

Coming from a casting point of view. Lust kind of dominates the show. He's a one man team. At WarbandNA, we've really tried to get that two man team going. It's how most casting is done it seems. Have that one play-by-play and one analyst.

Thanks all for the comments. As explained, the quality options are not a switch that I can just turn off or on. Otherwise obviously it would always be on.

I had contacted Twitch directly and they provided me with quality options for a while but they've disappeared now. I don't know if it's through some blanket clear out that they've done to free up server power, or whether it's due to inactivity on the channel (most channels with quality options put out content every day). I've contacted them about it and am just waiting for now.

I don't think I normally dominate the show. It was the first time I streamed with AZAN (I believe) and he's a very different character to play off than Eman so it might have been a little harder for him to get a word in and it perhaps changed the energy of the stream. Eman also normally operates the camera movements and it's not something I've done for a while so apologies if there were some issues there.

Though I do think I can #bringthehype ... perhaps you missed me screaming at Cradoc's javelins, I don't know.
