I think the movie was watchable.

The visuals were good and sometimes even epic. The plot was ok too with the little changes they had made. The thing that bugged me was that they had to make Max a superman: he took a shot from a shotgun from close proximity and didn't even bleed. Only thing missing was a scene of him eating tee.

Overall I think the movie was loyal to the game, but there was really nothing that could have made the movie great.

The making of a Max Payne flick is pointless (besides $) because that videogame is almost like a movie.
