Marshal, war and editor question

Users who are viewing this thread

hi all!

i destroyed vaegirs, swadians and nords as a rebel.
now to finish off the last 2 factions remaining i got a plan to make task easier.....a war between the two.
so i joined the rhodoks, and i've been elected mashal.....i attacked some caravans and a lord of khanate, and now was declared war.
as marshal i suppose i should lead the war (and i intend to do it.....but i find it REALLY hard to make other lord join me and follow me.

i mean: first of all.....when i say to a lord that i want to do a campaign, and to call everyone here......noone comes!

if i go around searching for the lords...and telling them to follow me.......they do......but sometimes they just go away without a word, so for one lord that join sometimes another leave..and i can't get a serious army.

another really boring thing is that if lords see that they are outnumbered.... they run away.
so even if i get a decent army.....when i meet kahte army often they run away.

there is a solution for that? thanks

EDIT:
uh! and another important things.....i have all the nords, vaegir and swadian lords in my dungeon......there's no way to make tehm join me?
their land is no more....so they can be useful instead of wasting 3 full prisons!

EDIT 2:
about edit mode........i can go in it...but then is a bit complicated understand how modify / add things ecc......there is a guide or something to explain how place objects, people ecc?

thanks

Sooner or later all prisioners escape. Having them on a castle means more time, just take them on your party and eventually they will escape and join other factions (including yours).
Btw, I think your relations with the Lords affects how much time they keep on your side, not that I have fully tested this.
Since I have never seen the "call everybody to start a campaign" working, I usually cheat to teleport and go to each castle/city/wandering-lord and tell them to go/patrol (sometimes they say they can't go, but agree to patrol or follow you) around the nearest castle to the objective. Then gather the half that is still there and go forth!

Their in various taverns in cities, they move around now and then.
Their basically customizable troops that can't be killed when you hire them you can change their stats and give them different equipment.

Q.1 I believe Danath answered that part of your post:

I also think relations affect how long a lord will follow you.  I know it affects battles, i.e., a lord who dislikes you will not participate in a battle you initiate, although he may stick around.  There might also be (and I'm guessing here) some interaction between various lords, which would make one leave when another joins.

Q.2 After a while (don't know how long), lords from a defeated faction will begin to join other factions.  Of course for this to happen, there have to be no towns, castles, villages, armies, farmers or caravans from the defeated faction left.

Q.3 Sorry, can't help you on edit mode.  There is probably a thread in the forums on that, just Search.
