Marriage

I'm playing as a character who does not want to belong to a faction, my noble flag will come only when I take the ill fated city of my choosing... But this seems troublesome since i want to get married beforehand. The fathers usually tell me that I am not part of their faction therefore cannot allow me to visit their daughters.

Is this something i can counter by getting higher relation with the lord? Or is there a type of character that does not care if im part of the faction or not? Or is my only option to elope?
