marriage troubles

hi, im relatively new to mount and blade warband. What i dont understand is that as a female character, i cannot propose to any single lords who i can marry.

my renown is 606, honor is 39, relations with them ranges from +10 - 30, charisma is 13, i have 1 fief which is a village.

each of them kept giving me the same response such as
"My Lady, while I admire your valour and your beauty, you will forgive me if I tell you that a woman like you does not uphold to my ideal of a wife: feminine, delicate and pure."

from reading the golddiggers guide, those responses mean i cannot marry any of them, does that mean ill be single forever?

The answer is: plastic surgery!

No, there are a few lords who would marry you, but not every lord. You can see which ones by how they treat you, especially when you leave a conversation. Possible grooms say stuff like "Farewell mylady, I will stay your greatest admirer!"
You just have to find one of those specific lords.

I started a female character to see how hard it'd be to marry without looking at any guides... Had Lord Rochabarth as my husband around the 20 day mark, first I threatened to cut out his tongue and he liked that so I got a +5 bonus I then did a couple of missions for him at +8 I asked to marry him he said he'd consider it, 3 days later went back got a +2 bonus because he was happy to see me, asked him again and he said he'd arrange it... 10 days later I have a husband without me even having fought a lord or done much other than trading and small missions like letter delivery or hunt down criminal.

He's either very lonely or you told him that you were once a famous 'mistress' in another land. Another reason would be that you bought him a six-pack and admitted you're a gamer-girl.

You can't, it's not very FEMININE to lead a warband, you just have to look for other lords who don't mind an unfeminine woman.
