Marriage Quick Question

So, having a castle or town seems to be needed for you to marry anyone, either with her father/brother permission or not.

Before I do something stupid, here's the question:

Let's say I'm a vassal in a kingdom and I have a castle or town and I marry someone. But let's say that then I choose to be released from my oath to be vassal from another kingdom or start my own. So I lose all my castles/towns.

Until I get a castle/town, am I still married? Will my wife stay in the wilderness for as long as it has until I have a castle/town?

Or will something bad and unexpected happen like marriage break, I don't know.

If it makes any difference I'm using MB + Diplomacy Mod, but no other mods or tweaks...

Thanks in advance! =)

First: You don't need a castle or a town to get married.
Second: If you haven't got a castle or a town your wife will stay by her father/brother until you have your own court.
Third: If you got married one time, you won't be able at any moment in the future to become "unmaried".

Hope I helped you

I was almost sure I needed because I remember some months ago when I played last time, I asked for a lady to run away with me and she said she wouldn't because she wouldn't have a place to stay... =/

Well, it's a special thing to ask a lady to run away with you, because she won't be able to stay by her father/brother and when you don't have your own castle/city she haven't got a place to stay!

Well, I just hope she doesn't give up on me when I release my oath and lose all my towns/castles for a while...

Also, pretty weird. At first, she was daughter of King Harlus. Now she is daughter of some Count, still Swadian at least. Really didn't get it, some weird bugs I think.
