That would be a pretty sweet addition, and to be able to share the maps over the multiplayer, designing towns/castles for use in multiplayer would be sweet. I really doubt it will happen though

Yeah ive noticed that, and that as well is a big plus of warbands multiplayer, but for people like me who have no mod experience to be able to create those things, it would be cool.
There was an ingame editor in the original MnB. With this you could make maps to your heart's content. While you won't be able to do it directly in multiplayer, you'll still probably be able to in singleplayer and then copy the scene file.
That sounds very promising. many moons ago I tried to mod Halflife to create a medieval combat simulator. It was of course a huge undertaking which I didn't finish but I did create a test map with a castle. It was great fun and I've got some lovely ideas for M&B maps. The tactical nature of the game could lead to some fantastic situations or challenges if a map is designed well.
Clearly the number of maps we've seen so far is only a small subset of what will be released. I really hope Taleworlds let their imagination run riot a little bit and create some maps which introduce unusual situations - as well as looking cool.
