So, I just went to see Mao's Last Dancer with my dad, and it's surprisingly good, very powerful stuff.

Was that a joke?

Never heard of the film. Maybe a little info on the story and such...

No, i'm sure there was a communist dictator called Mao in china o_O

I kinda guessed this Play? Musical? Was about him o.o

I thought Mao had same fame status as Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini and Kaney West.

Its the story of a kid in communist china who is assigned to be a ballet dancer, goes on to tour the states, and to cut a long story short decides he likes it better in the states. It's a true story, and it's brilliantly well done.

The whole Mao thing is confusing.  I don't think he has quite the same fame status, but near to.  Kill just isn't as educated about historic world affairs.

Well, I am kinda... I was just asking if it was the same mao, I guess it wasen't so were okay

Mao brought about social change. Popular with some, hated by others. He was no Hitler, but neither was he a good guy. I personally think he was a fat squirmy ****, but it's probably coming from a mix of jealously, intimidation and anti-CPG.

Mao brought about social change.
To put it mildly. He created China the way it is today and was one of the world's greatest mass murderers easily compared to Hitler or Stalin.
He terrorised his own population, and his financial politics lead to the starvation and death of millions.
The reason some still admire him is because of the socialism 'at the core' like free education, free health care and less poverty,
but it can never justify the misdeeds.

He managed to put on an idealistic face throughout his years, however. And put pretty names on societal genocides like "Cultural Revolution."
