Manual Activation: Not Working

I recently bought M&B and retrived my manual activation code from 'taleworlds.com/act' (after inputing the hash and the code). The problem is that when I input the manal activation code in to the window, nothing happens. The window just closes, and still says TRIAL MODE.

I have tried un-install/re-install but still nothing happens. I have also disabled everything in MS-config. PLEASE HELP!

Is the hash and code from the computer that you are trying to activate M&B on?

The hardware hash is from the computer I am trying to run M&B from (the computer with the problem above). Sadly that computer can not be connected to the internet, otherwise I would have used automatic activation.

Double check the activation code is correct.

Also what version of Windows are you running? If your using XP or 2000 make sure your logged into an account with administrator privileges, as the program will need to update the registry.

I have checked the code many times. I am running XP, and have administrator access.

Here's a manual on using manual activation:

(1) Start Mount&Blade, press "Enter serial key" button, and then select
"manual activation".

(2) Note down "Hardware hash" code displayed on the window.

(3)Open up an internet browser and go to "www.taleworlds.com/act/".
Enter hardware hash you obtained at step 2 and your serial key. The page
should then give you a 32-digit activation code.

(4) Enter the activation code you obtained at step 3, on the manual
activation window of Mount&Blade.
