Mamluke problem

I am experiencing an issue in my game when I order my mamlukes to switch to blunt weapon. They will sometimes switch to maces, while other times have no weapons in their hands. Then they will always stand in the same spot and do nothing, even when I order them to charge. Only when I order them to use 'any weapon' can I regain control over them. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

The problem is, is that they do not always have maces.

But they should still charge, unknown3056. I haven't had this problem myself, but then I haven't ordered blunt weapons before

Yes, they should still charge and attack with bare fists, no? I am also running Diplomacy 2.8, so maybe this is an issue with the mod (although I didn't find any reports about mamluke bugs from Diplomacy users). I do notice that some mamlukes are armed with lances + swords while others are armed with lances + maces.
