Male Circumcision - why still legal?

Not in the slightest, if you were going for the literal meaning of the insult.

I was! You know me so well, honey bunny.

But its nowhere near the same as the natural skin.

Are you speaking from personal experience? Because it's made out of your own skin.

Seff 说:
Why does this feel very, very much like the cut people defending their penises because they just happen to be cut? And the other way around, for that matter.
I am not circumcised, nor a religious man.
But I am really not impressed by moral crusades waged by western democracies. Is it some leftover catholic streak that makes people want to pry into other families' and even cultures' private business and hate those who believe in different things? This messianic mood is observed even in atheists (especially in modern western atheists, to think of it).

If you got circumcised but don't want it, well, tough ****.
Except not really, since there are circumcision reversal surgeries.
Jolly! You're undergoing another procedure to fix a procedure you didn't want in the first place!

Its general info, not experience.

Nonsurgical methods can take years to work and are highly contingent on how much skin there is to work with and do not entirely restore functionality to all affected parts.

Surgical methods are generally not advised by those with experience in the field because of unsatisfactory results.

There is a hypothetical method to regrow it naturally, as in good as knew, but its still theory.

Don't be a **** and cut your kids plox.

You shouldn't have to have to fix what someone else broke in order to fix what wasn't broken.

So one shouldn't be allowed to remove some extraneous skin, due to the possibility that someone might eventually wish to reattach such skin, for no good reason? Oh wow, that's super compelling.

I didn't say that, I said the restoration methods aren't very good.

The **** part comes from permanently altering a perfectly healthy body, when you could just wait and ask them.

Obviously everyone should just be left in peace! Whether it's stoning, foot binding, circumcision (male or female), pogroms, segregation - heck, the list is long! Live and let live, Weaver demands! South-Africa should have kept the Apartheid going, it was their prerogative as a sovereign nation state! Sudan should have just kept killing South-Sudanese, for the same reason! Nobody should react when Thailand jails people for ten or twenty years for the horrible, horrible crime of insulting their monarch! Why should anyone care if some African pygmies and albinos are burned on the stake as witches? Their culture, their country, their right!

Because evil is evil no matter how you spin it, stop evil to make the world a better place.

If this qualifies as evil, you have an incredibly long road ahead of you to eliminate evil.

Good job trivializing problems associated with the male gender. So being a guy isn't exactly the toughest thing in the world. So ****ing what. If female infants were routinely having their genitals operated on, people WOULD be up in arms about it. So why trivilize it? Do men as a whole need to be punished because we have it pretty easy with some ****?

It's not the same kind of operation and you know it. Stop trying to distract from the issue at hand.

Of course it isn't and what issue at hand am I distracting from? The fact that you don't think circumcission is of any importance whatsoever? Stop distracting from the issue that there are a lot of men out there who are circumcised and don't want it. I have some issues from circumcission that range from some numbness to inconvenience. It doesn't matter though. I shouldn't have to deal with it just because my mother made an uninformed decision based on a "norm".

The issue of men who have been circumcised and don't want it correlates strongly with the set of men who have parents that they don't want.

So one should be allowed to remove someone else's extraneous skin without their consent, due to the possibility that someone might eventually agree it was a good idea to remove the extraneous skin, for no good reason? Oh wow, that's super compelling.

Yeah, Tibertus! You wishing you were not circumcised is your bad!

I don't believe that infants have any rights, beyond the right not to be terminated for no good reason. Later rights are not retroactively applied.

Feel free, though you leave yourself open to a lawsuit if you can supply no rationale for doing so.
