making it possible to change save autmatically

i started one of my games, and i'm at a high level now, but i do not like that the game saves when exited (realistic mode). is there any way i can change this, like throught the consol or anything?

You shouldn't choose "realistic" mode when creating characters, then. The choice you're given in the beginning, about saving, pertains only to saving and nothing else.

yeah, i know i should of picked the other way, but is there any way to change it back?

Return to desktop by alt-tab. Then close the game from there. It shouldn't be able to save this way.

I'm having the opposite problem. I'd like to play Realistic saving, but would like to be able to save without exiting in case of crashes. Is there some way to save without exiting?

Could there be? I'm not enjoying saving and then having to reload the game, but I also am not enjoying having the game crash and wipe out half an hour of playing.

Go to a town or friendly party (enemies work too once you killed 'em first) and it shall autosave.
