Make aging an option.

I am surprised that some people have actually made it to age 128.

I know that we are currently in a rather dire time due to corona virus, and many people are quarantined, encouraged to remain indoor, sent home from work or got fired, etc etc, due to the whole ordeal, but come on.

But damn.

I very much agree that age progresses so slow that currently it is a useless feature, I have faith that it won't be in the future. But if how slow it is currently is any indication of what it is going to be in the future, then it is as irrelevant to suddenly start focusing on coding the game to allow players to halt the overall aging and have that functional throughout, as it is to have it in; you won't end up seeing the results of the feature either way.

To talk about what I want... I want the aging to be sped up, ever so slightly, but have the character start a little younger. Late twenties should fit more than early thirties.

What kind of logic is that? If the devs add it in, then it's not a cheat.
Ever played any MMO? Auto grind is a cheat in some game, but it's a legitimate function in others. Same logic applies here. If it's an official rule, then it's not a cheat. Even a kid knows that lol...

And since you said it yourself, it takes 20 years to conquer the map, then what's the point of having ageing? If it's not even that important, why are you guys so freaked out about having the option to disable it? You're overreacting.
20 years to conquer the map if thats your plan. If you want to be immortal warband super hero, then you can still do that, but I also mentioned that civil wars and rebellions will drastically increase the campaign length so age will be a factor, otherwise old characters like Lucon could just rule forever. Their deaths will bring on more changes and rebellions, lords will get married so they can have kids and the world will actually feel alive rather than the stagnant 3 year campaign of native

It's pointless trying to reason with these two numbskulls. They seem to think that the game is in a completed state and HAS to be a mirror image of Warband with prettier graphics. Unfortunately, their critical thinking and comprehension skills are extremely lacking. They don't realize they bought into the wrong game.
Again, fighting a strawman. Can you quote anyone saying the game is complete? Stop acting like a clown.

Even though recent devblogs and even older devblogs strictly state that Generational Gameplay and Aging was a core feature they refuse to accept that fact because they're choosing to ignore the facts.
Where in the dev blog did they say that? I bet you didn't even read it and just shooting your mouth randomly.

Options and solutions were offered to them but, yet again, they're just so attacked by the fact that "mUh GoDhOoD" is threatened with an aging mechanic. We'll let the devs do their work and continue on the course their on, the game will be a huge success either way and these two vocal minorities won't matter at the end of the day, lol.

Lmao, you're the gift that just keeps on giving. Please, never change and don't stop being ignorant. Other people use you for entertainment when you open your mouth and offer your opinion.

Anyways, a slider option is the best bet here to resolving anyones qualms about the mechanic. You can slow it down as far as you want or you can speed it up, everyones happy.

Which doesn't really change anything as they all behave the same. The only difference would be in the name. And no you can't be immortal super hero when you can't disable ageing.

Said they one who's been quoting randomly, can't even read properly and just making **** up. Please, never change and don't stop being ignorant. Other people use you for entertainment when you open your mouth and offer your opinion.

Anyways, a simple option to disable ageing is the best bet here to resolving anyones qualms about the mechanic. You can disable it as you want or you can enable it up, everyones happy.

Oh yea, reply to this comment and I'll show you a very nice post that you'll enjoy very much

...as you ignore the fact that this game has many more features than Warband.

...as you ignore listed features on the store page at TaleWorlds and Steam never mentioning the currently inactive 'core feature' of aging.

...as you ignore the fact that this 'core feature' that is 'too deep in the code' isn't even functioning yet.

You're the only numbskull here, trying to pretend a Mount & Blade game shouldn't have the features of a Mount & Blade game.

your kids are literally clones of you and will inherit your stats when its fully implemented. why don't you want your character to have kids and continue his line? absolutely twisted. its not the sims, you don't have to teach them to walk and talk and potty train them, you don't have to go to school. its a good feature and too simple, lmao. you don't even have to feed your kids. this entire thread is based on the premise that it takes 30 days to age 1 year when in reality it takes 100 days for 1 year. in 1000 days, the map will likely be conquered and you won't have to worry about aging. even when the snowball is fixed through mods, devs still say 20 years to conquer the map and 20 years puts your character at around 50, less so if we're allowed to change our starting age. bannerlord will have rebellions and civil wars which will likely increase the campaign size drastically. you don't need the option. its part of the game and you're overreacting.
It's not even part of the game currently, lol. ...and you know for a fact that children inherit all skills and perks? You must have some version of the game or insider knowledge that no one else has access to.

just play the game and stop *****ing.
children of ai lords obviously inherit their parents skills, and children of players parents inherit their personality traits, but not their skills at this stage of the game.

Nah, but how about you provide some evidence of your claims?
