major problem with party morale.

After patching my game yesterday and started a new game. I noticed some the troops morale drops beyond average or lower. While other remain excellent. Even in my party screen it says my party morale is excellent. I tried staying in my castle for a few days, but that didn;t work and i hate deserters. I rather kill those in battle then watching them flee.  Anyone know what is wrong ?? or is this new feature i don't know about ??

If you have troops of a faction you are in war with and constantly killing or looting, they will have a negative bonus to their morale.

It is shown in your morale report in 'Reports' section.

For example, if you are at war with Vaegirs and fought with their boyars and killed lots of their troops, your own vaegir warriors will be very upset.

Feed your army well, be victorious and they won't leave you

Darn that explains it, but what happens if i am at war with all faction. Your army will be unable to maintained. We really need our own faction. to counter this.

Train peasants, female peasants and manhunters - they don't have nationality

problem with female peasant is they are hard to come by only in numbers like 2 tot 5. Not a fast way to get my army up and running. Any other way ?? manhunters are very hard too since bandits needs to capture them first before you have a chance of recruiting them.

The only thing I can think of - use different armies to fight different foes. Stock up a lot of different faction troops in your town or castle, then interchange them accordingly when you are planning to attack a particular nation.

luckily we are no longer bound to the 32 different unit limits. So that tactic should work well now. thanks will try that.

Just don't use Rhodok troops to fight Rhodok lords/towns. They'll desert. Any other faction is OK.
Make sure you don't make brothers kill brothers and it should all be fine.

I had rhodok morale bonus at -126 while party morale was 99 (max). No wonder they kept running away

I see your point, this is very irritating, since my current army is rhodok and i trained them to be strong tiers, now they became useless. I really hope they will add our own troop tier so we don;t have to get this again. those who still want to use rhodok against rhodok are warned.  The real problem start when all kingdoms declare war on you. Is there a mod that gives me my own troop types ??

Since we have our own kingdom management now i would have figured they would at least let us recruit our own troop types.

Don't fight any kingdom using their own troops. Should fix the problem.

Not really helpful for me now i am at war with every one.  and keep switching and maintaining a sizable force is not really manageable because of low denars.

looks like i have to start a new game this one is unplayable.

Looks like new error just pop up, i captured veluca but the ownership stays to the former owner and when i try to give veluca to myself i get all red error screen popping up. I think i'l start over.
