Main Website - IP Banned?!

I just bought a new i7 computer system and am looking forward to resuming my Warband save games from the previous computer. My school's e-mail system is currently down, which means I can't access the original Avangate e-mail with the serial number.  This also means I can't go through their site since I don't remember my password at all.  I figured that I would go through the main Taleworlds site and get my serial numbers from there since I know I entered them there around the time of Warband's release.  The problem is I simply get a page that says "IP Banned" in red letters.  This has never happened to me before.

The only thing I can think of is that I forgot my password and entered numerous things it could have been (I rotate between four different passwords all over).  I finally got it only to get that screen... did I do something wrong I didn't know about?  Is it because the account got locked for the numerous attempts?

While it is possible that Taleworlds has banned your IP, it is much more likely that the connection you're using (it sounds like it is your school's?) has banned the Taleworlds website.

It would be interesting to know if you can get to the website from a different connection; wireless at the coffee shop or somesuch.
