The pace at which the mod is progressing seems astonishing. There's always something new every time I check up on this thread.
I'm very much looking forward to the next version. Keep up the great work, it's really appreciated.
 
That would be too overpowered. A single cannonball can kill 20 guys. And you know how close the enemy stands to each other.

Thanks! I keep trying to find new revolutionary things to keep myself motivated. Developing mods
requires a lot of time and effort. There're tiresome jobs from time to time.

I'm really amazed how moddable Warband is. You can do everything you want! You can even implement
a city-building (mini)game if you want!

 
How about havy rifle placement? I remember the turks in Age of Empires 3 have a unit , dont remember whats it calleed though, the unit has a huge musket wich e carries around and places it on a bipod in order to fire. Oh that gives me an idea can you make such a unit? Or weapon in that case. I big calliber rifle wich will be used as a hammer or club as primary and when you activate secondary (the X key) you are rooted in place and can fire the rifle normaly, it will have a verry small AOE or can pierce trough 3 enmies tops. You wont be able to change weapons while using the fire mode.

On another topic. Most books videos and whatnot on gunpowder weapons its mostly common for the cannon to come before the rifle, the rifle being a minuterised version of it. And the basic fire arms look more like hand held cannons rather than a rifle. Is that true and if it is can you make it possible to have these type of hand cannons?
 
Bipods are difficult to implement, but they're cool. I'll think about it.

Guys I've added churches, mosques, synagogues and shrines for tengriism followers. If you follow a religion ingame, you can now build the matching temple in towns and convert
the local populace to your own religion. If you follow Atheism, you'll have to build temples matching the faction leader's religion or otherwise the populace's religion.

Temples of heathen or heretic beliefs will reduce your religious uniformity. Either destroy or/and build your own temples.  :smile:
 
If you add pods, it would make sense for the Musketeers to have them. The muskets are the reason why the pods were invented in the first place.
 
Any chance of an actual blunderbus, with the grapeshot and all? Also if you can do that can you make 2  type of canons 1 exlosive and one grapeshot. The grapesot damages a small cone and the explosive.

On a second note can you make blacksmith from who you can order top notch gear? You know without having to specialise in crafting! Maybe make it only for lords and depending on the kingdoms tech level. For reference think With fire and sword, 16th century north hemishpere( It alows you to make any item lordly given the proper materials), and the best crafting ive seen Silverstag you got an artisian who can make you any item in the game with any modifier, for a hefty sum ofcourse.

P.S.- Dont push yourself too hard bannerlord should come out later this year so it should be fine regardles of the crafting system you make, after all who ever thought that warband will have cannons, muskets, cutom troops and even crafting? And keep up the good work!!!
 
Update: The Turguhn Horde awakes


In v4.0 the Turguhn Horde not spawning bug is fixed. I followed Obayid, one of the lords and he didn't disappear during
the 25 days I followed him. Together with solving this old bug I also re-equipped the army with more exotic stuff.
The Turguhn bows and arrows are the most deadliest ingame. They can be easily noticed since the feathers and bow are red.
They have high quality armor and endless horse achers. Unlike the Khergits, you'll have a hard time defeating the Turguhns.

Grapeshot especially for cannons are hugely overpowered. Remember that Warband limits the amount of men to 100  :smile:.

Remember we can acces certain files. I am against grapeshot aswell though´.
 
well i do agree its overpowered, after all i mostly took the idea from carribean but it  can be balanced out like having about 20 projectiles 30p damage each or something. Not to mention against a shield wall it wil be pretty weak!

Does increasing your tech level increase your troops proficiency if not, can you add a building to increase proficiency lets say 40 for each upgrade (2 max veterran elite)?

P.S.-can you add a phalanx formation or something. With the front row focusing on defence and the second and third using polearms(Pikes,Spears etc) to poke the enemy to death?

Also im just trowing ideas wich will be forgotten by the end of the year

EDIT: how long is the cannon reload ? And will calliber effect reload speed (Bigger canons bigger boom and longer reload)
Also is it possible to give specific commands to your troops. For instance tell the gunners to kill the enemy archers. The pikemen(category) to kill the enemy cavalry etc. If you need rreference check the 16th century north hemisphere. Its a nice warband mod im playing till yours comes out. Also can you add the gothic armor set? I dont have pics but its big rugget and comes in 3 colors pure  black, bloody  red and gold(Partial and full,also from( the 16th century mod))
 
Having Canister blocked by shields would be the most silly thing humanity has ever seen. Thats stupid. Please dont.
 
I wonder if cannonballs could toss people around awesomely like during blast of these astonishing hand grenades...
  Hmm, is the foe getting instant kill by explosion or it may heavily wounded.

Please move yourself another 1000cm
So I was at one of my village and this message keeps popping up "Please move yourself another 1000cm outside the building so your workers can finish it" and I did but it still stays at 1000cm even when I go really far.
