    And Please i cannot stress this enough, this is no where near an actualy version 1 (complete release), its still highly experimental and in development, so please refreain from any negative statements as this was originaly a lol jks project (between friends) i released for the public to try, so if you dont like it dont get it and dont post bad things about it.........simple enough

    The Good, Bad and Ugly
    The Good:
    • Models are in game
    • Some of the textures look correct
    • guns and grenades are working even with sounds
    • has a variety of maps and new UI
    • 21/6 AUTOFIRE NOW WORKS, THANKS  "ithilienranger" and will be included in next update
    The Bad:
    • NO MAPS have been properly AI meshed (only ruins is in working order)
    • Invasion Is there but not properly scripted to work yet
    • May encounter bugs, unknown to me
    • items stats

    Halo AS Model Rework Project
    All weapons except the MA5C (New model) look the same. I just cut down minor details that you couldnt see unless you have a 64" Screen.
    All vehicles except the Warthog look the same. I just cut down minor details.

    Reworked Weapons:
    MA5C Assult Rifle - All new model. Working texture. 100 poly's more. Soon to be cut down. :smile:
    Battle Rifle - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count by alot. Two new versions, one with the scope, and one without
    Beam  Rifle - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count.
    Carbine - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count
    Flamethrower - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count. Looks more like a real weapon.
    Gravity Hammer - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count by a little. Got rid of the annoying ring at the bottom of the hammer.
    Pistol - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count
    Plasma Cannon - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count
    Sniper - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count. Got rid of some unneccesary things.
    SMG - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count
    Rocket Launcher - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count
    Bruteshot grenade launcher - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count
    Shotgun - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count

    Reworked Vehicles and SceneProps:
    Pillar of Autumn - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count by a small amount. Got rid of unneeded trim. Also working on a new collision mesh for it.
    Lifepod - Nothing done except remapping the window UV. Now the window is black. No need for a second texture.
    Capital Ship - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count by alot. Getting rid of unneeded details.
    Scorpion - Took out lots of unnecesary stuff. Much better for Warband gameplay.
    Gauss Hog (Warthog) - Completely reworked. Removed the Turret, the steering wheel (couldnt see it anyway) and made it have an open top. Looks much better and removes a good 300 poly's.
    Mongoose - Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count by a wee bit. Will finish later
    Ghost (Working and Destroyed) - Removed minor unneeded details. Lowered poly, face, edge, and vert count by 100-500 each.

    Reworked Armours:
    ODST Helm - Got rid of the old one. Replaced with a two part mesh. Now the helm has a glass front. :grin:

    Completely New Items: WORK IN PROGRESS
    Grunt (With working texture)
    Plasma Turret (Mounted and Dismounted)
    Halo 3 Fuel Rod Gun
    New SMG (For gun variants)
    Brute Prowler (Not yet in game, but would definitely fit)

I dont like this mod. Everything is ripped from Halo, even the ****ing maps, which by the way are ugly as hell, there are no servers up, Invasion seems to not work, and so on. Waste of bandwidth if you ask me.

Everything ripped from halo? That's kinda the point.

1.  Please identify and credit the artists whose work you're using.  You say "Halout", but there's more than one mod with that name; for example, this project, whose art looks nothing like what you show, and HaloUT, which is, from what I briefly gathered on Google, largely dead.

2.  Do not imply that you made the work "from scratch".  All you did was auto-rig (badly) in OpenBRF.

3.  Show that you got written permission to use Halout Team's work.  Whichever one that was.  It appears you didn't bother, because you "can't find them".  Guess what?  That means you're violating copyrights.

I'm sorry to have to be harsh about this, but it's just utterly uncool to rip a bunch of art then build a mod around work you didn't make.  That it's also based on a third party's IP, and that Bungie has issued C&Ds before, makes this all very problematic.  You really should have made your own art, guys.

Look, really guys, I don't want to be harsh.  But this is how it works:

1.  If you're using something that is not 100% totally your work, you need permission.  Whether that's the HaloUT guys saying, "sure, whatever people want to do with our stuff, it's cool" or an email from the artists, it's very important.

2.  Modifying somebody else's work in any way does not change that situation. 

For example, I use axes that were modeled by Luigi, a modeler who made OSP packs for the original Mount and Blade, in Blood and Steel.  He's credited, even though I've made a bunch of changes to his models and they have completely different skins and look very different from the originals.  It doesn't matter at all how many changes you made, the original work is not yours.  You can't claim it, you can't use it without permission, it's not yours to claim credit for, other than the changes you made.  There is no gray area about this; copyright rests with the original author; ultimately, that means Bungie, but in your case, it's a double problem, because you're using mod art you can't even attribute properly.  That is a serious no-no.

You guys need to model all your stuff, from scratch, and skin it, from scratch.  Right now we can't take your word on anything, in terms of what is your work and what is the work of HaloUT.  My guess, just looking at it, is that none of it's yours.  If you knew how to model and skin well enough to make any of that, you would not have a Warthog with the wrong texture on its tires, and other obvious stuff like that that screams, "we ripped this and we don't know enough to even fix it".

I'd like to see all the stuff made from scratch. Not just because of copyright stuff, but I'd like to see some creativity for Halo M&B. Give some uniqueness to the models, enough so they aren't the same but look like they could be variant equipment.

Unfortunately, that is not how it works. If you cannot get a hold of HaloUT and there is no standing "you're free to use this work" policy with them that can be cited, you are not allowed to use their work.

Backed up, removed all the old in with the new, and theres nothing else to say really, you said it all yourself :smile:
