Native OSP Scenes [M] Large Community Event Map

I was working on this some time back as a purely large scale CTF map, however with the UK+Poland vs France+Germany+Italy event I thought I would finish it off and release it as a map for playing such events.

The maps name is Province and is very large for a conventional warband map (not as big as persistent world though). It should work properly with the Battle, CTF, Conquest and FnD gametypes. There is no bot pathing at the moment as doing that for a map this size is a pretty hefty task, if there is interest expressed in having AI play on it however I might get round to doing it. The map is constructed for 100+ player games ideally so its unlikely I could ever run it in a properly populated way on a regular public server. As such I have made it freely available for any groups to use as they please.

So I assume, it is specifically good if you have coordinated teams. So it would be good for multi-clan/national teams to play on this. :grin:
 
Yeah, I am pretty sure it would work even at less coordinated events, but the requirement is really player numbers. Coordination certainly wouldn't hurt though.
 
Yeah it is functional, it has a total of three entrances and most of the walls are accessible. I designed both castles to have roughly identical layouts in a gameplay sense, both have two front entrances leading to a narrowing point while also having a back entrance that allows you to drop down onto the flag. There are of course slight differences but there are pros and cons to each. In any serious CTF or conquest game where balance was an issue however you would swap sides at some point anyway, the same as we do now with clan battles.
 
Looks very nice. A lot of effort has gone into this and I hope I get to play on it when there are 100+ people on a server!
