[M] Glitch Free Multiplayer Maps v1.4

These files are alternate versions of Native multiplayer maps, that remove glitches. They were made for the European Native League.

Note: These maps will not work properly, for bots. Any bots used on these maps will behave irrationally and hilariously. This is because the AI meshes were removed, to reduce file size.



Download v1.4    for Mount&Blade: Warband 1.134-1.143 | Not tested with other versions.

To install these fixed maps on your server, just copy the files in the "SceneObj" folder, into the "Modules\Native\SceneObj\" directory, on your server. Overwrite, when prompted and that's it!

No need to muck around with text files or anything. This will automatically download the maps, for anyone who doesn't already have them. These are ready for competitive and public play.



Fixed Maps (with the problems/glitches that have been fixed):



Nord Town

  • Using the carts to get onto rooves.
  • Getting under the walkway at low spawn.
  • Trick jumping from the catwalk to the roof of the house at the U shape, at fort spawn.
  • Jumping off the catwalk at fortspawn and taking 0 damage.
  • Having to jump up the steps, onto the wall.
  • Getting inside various things. #needs verification
  • Jumping onto the roof near the wall.
  • Jumping on to the roof, at 2nd spawn, from the palisades on the catwalks.
  • Glitching out of the map, at 2nd spawn.



Port Assault

  • Using broken beams to glitch onto blocked parts of certain rooves.
  • Sliding off the stable (by the wall), if you don't jump onto it.
  • Jumping from the ladder, connecting the houses, to the roof of the smaller house.
  • Getting stuck at the top of the ladder in the middle house.
  • Getting out of the map.



Village

  • Clothlines to get onto middle rooves.
  • Getting on top of the beams above towers.
  • Jumping on the cloths above the pillowed area.
  • Using a horse to reach other areas, from the roof with 2 ladders.
  • Falling down the gap, behind the Barn.
  • Getting stuck on the straw house, at front rooves.
  • Jumping to the perimeter wall, from the back roof with the wooden stairs and ladder and the balcony that overlooks the flag position.
  • Leapfrogging over teammates, to get to higher, adjacent wall segments.
  • Accessing a cloth patterned awning, near the "alleys" flag spawn.



Ruins

  • Jumping onto the low walls.
  • Getting and hiding inside walls.
  • Jumping onto the house, at village spawn.



Ruined Fort

  • Jumping onto the low ruined wall, facing village spawn.
  • Jumping onto the end of the wall, near ruins.
  • Jumping onto the house, at village spawn.
  • Walking inside the wall, at the edge of the round tower.



Field by the River

  • Jumping onto the houses, at the 1st spawn.
  • Using a horse, to get onto the rooves, at 2nd spawn.



If you feel any glitches have been missed, or fixes have been made where you feel there was no problem, feel free to say so and I'll review it.

 
Two questions:

Is the glitch where you can jump out of the map from one of the boats with the help of another player in Port Assault fixed?
Is it still possible to jump on the roof of one of the houses in the Ruins village?
 
...I'm waiting a patch with this fix from BETA...

With the help of another player? Not sure I know that one but the normal glitch, where you just walk out by the net is fixed.

Yeah, I couldn't remember how to do that one, so it's still unfixed.

If you don't mind, I'll steam you at some point and get you to show me them :razz:.
 
It's really a SHAME that WithF&S got such a huge amount of patch and here in Warband we still have to face to such bugs, such few options to play, few maps and so on. Perhaps, it's the time to not leave it completly in the hands of the community. It's better to build up a Warband 2 and sell it, rather than leaving the game "starving" as it's now.
Anyway, very nice job here.
Warband players appreciate this.

If it the house that I think he is discussing, it is exceptionally difficult to get a horse in there. As you enter the village through the back-gate [open gates], there is a house window on the left hand-side on the ground floor, just before you may turn left to head towards the barn. It is that window on the ground floor that it is possible to glitch into providing that you have a horse. However, I have never seen anyone in there. Infact, I assumed that only myself and Einherjar_Krax knew about the glitch as we had fun with it some months back.

Its on village, near one flag spawn, near cata roof, near assassin's hideout:

Edit:

found another one.
Port Assault, docks. Getting under them on horse, my upper body is glitched through it, so I can get hit and hit other people while being under the docks and being on horse. :smile:

I think that's more of a bug with the game, rather than the map. Doesn't seem to be fixable.



Version 1.3 released. Miwiw's fix added and AI meshes removed (to reduce filesize). Note that the maps may no longer be used with bots.
