M&B:WB on Steam with NW on GamersGate

If you have a steam copy of warband, and preordered off of gamersgate, do the following.

1. Go to Warband on steam, grab your Warband CD Key.
2. Go to Taleworlds.com, enter the Warband Key.
3. DL the full game non-steam version.

You can then use your gamersgate version. I think.

This works. Would be nice to activate gamersgate version on steam though..

  Doesn't seem to be working for me. My Warband version has been registered with Taleworlds.com since I bought it when it first came out. I went to the NW link, downloaded it. And it still says it cant detect Warband.

You need to download and install Warband from TW.
