M&B Warband : Game Crashes after loading screen

As the title states my game crashes after the loading screen is done. Just goes to a black screen and crashes to desktop. Game has never done this in the past 3 years I have been playing, oddly enough happened after I stop playing the game and tried loading the game again.

Found several other threads stating that I delete my rgl_config file in my documents, but this has not worked. I have also completely deleted warband off my computer 3 times.

Anyone encounter/Fix this?

Hi dman248,

It's common with older systems or laptops to have this. What I believe it is simply a faulty instruction send to the processor which cause it to crash.
Solution to it is quite simple, restart the game again after it happens.
Often I have to restart it 3 or 4 times, especially if I'm running a lot of other applications(ex: Browser with 5 tabs, Teamspeak, Music, ...)

Thanks for the response but it didnt work

I have figured out a way now and have it working. For anyone experiencing the same problem, I downloaded a older version of warband then ran it. After checking to make sure that version worked I then re-downloaded from steam and it is now working. Hope that works for someone.
