M & B update?

Users who are viewing this thread

You're just going to get yelled at... but I'd be interested in an answer too.

M&B updates are a rare species, only found in specific locations of the internet, they feed on the programming and artistic talent of two turkish developers.

As much as I might admire your choices in books, I must say your questions are in poor taste. we'll get it when we get it. Hold your horses. Eat them for all I care. Just be patient. Or Armagan just might snap and stalk through the office with a rifle.

Well I hope he does. Might get folks up out of their seats and get the update done quicker?
Simple question. Surely theres an idea on a release date? Feed the masses, throw us a bone. 20% complete? 50%? 80%?
Not hard to give a rough estimate to appease the PAYING customers eh!
Oh, and as for the "poor taste" thing, I don't understand. Are you just trying to be rude and annoying or are you really under the impression that no one needs/want's to know about the status of the update?

But, there are many unpaying customers here also. If he tells us now, and it's soon they might get it now before it comes out and pay less. Armagan and Ipek deserve more than 12 bucks for the game right now. Plus, there is no office. It's just two people. Also, if he tells us, it will come out that much later. Also, he might not know how close to finishing he is. He's trying to make sure mod compatibility stays so that all your mods will still be valid.

No offence but that is a quite dumb explanation.

It's interesting that Skilgannon joined exactly the same day as me...

Let's not turn this into an exercise in name calling and slander. The question was quite simple, as should be the response. Are they actively working on one? What percentage complete is it? When roughly, can we expect a release?
If giving this information to non paying patrons causes a problem, then create a members only room where cd verification is needed to enter or something along those lines. I mean, really there should be no problem posting the info on a public board.

Its a completely proper question, we all want to know when, if armagan dont like questions like this he would probably have made it clear for us not to ask when, but sadly its usually so that not even developers themselves know when they finish something. Would be nice if armagan would show up and say "im working on it" "soon" or "shutup" or anything. Telling the community that his alive keeps our spirits up and that is what devs usually do when they dont know any particular news.

I agree. I don't want to put pressure on the developers I'd just like an idea of when they think it'll be finished. If there is something unexpected and they miss the 'deadline' that doesn't matter.

I think saying a vague date like "this month", "next month" would let everybody happy and won't delay the work...
I am quite new here, when was released the last updaTe?

Back in the 1400's. How else would thsi game be so realistic  .

Seriosly im watching for another game at www.roma-victor.com, it pisses me off because they keep on moving the schedule back (it was sopposed to be done last year i think)and then they dont tell us when its coming out....

my guess is that armagan is hesitant to give us a solid release date because he's not sure when exactly it will be done. I think we'd all be more pissed if we got another date and were dissapointed when something unforseen came up and it was pushed back. Look at half life 2. My advice... don't get worked up about it. Pick up another game for a while, and check back periodically. When it is released, you'll have a nice surprise.

Couldn't put it in any better way than this.

If you check twice a day for updates, it's much more boring to wait for the update. Try doing something else for a while, and check... say once a week?

No need to hurry... I am personally working on designing a campaign for Wesnoth. There is always so many things to do... and if the update comes, it will be a pleasant surprise. And if not... I had a lot of fun with M&B already.
