So, as my first time posting here, I'm just gonna show my opinions.
1.Game start options- kinda a simple one, maybe tie in a trait or two into the game, like the impoverished noble getting the flag did.
Like in the choosing the personal revenge, you just happen to find that culprit drunk in the Yalen tavern, and have a wonderful time placing revenge right between his ribs.
2.Towns and such- Like what others said, more building options in towns, would also like to found my own fortress of doom in some dark corner of Calradia, quietly plotting total domination.
Another thing would be some visual mods inside the town (yes, the village SAYS its poor and neglected, but it looks exactly the same as when its flourishing)
Maybe take customization a step further
Alternative 1: Give the town a focus on weapons, or goods
Alternative 2: Add specialties shops like the blacksmith or fletcher into the manage city option
Items- if you have the money, you should be able to have one personally made (new top stat 'commissioned' *insert item here*)
3.Roads- Enough said, follow the road to Shariz
4.Combat- I would really like it if bandits could just learn to surrender when its 10 vs 100, seriously they need to learn that they aren't that tough, especially without a shirt on and throwing rocks at me.
Kind of back to the towns, I think they can provide some kind of garrison on there own, cuz I doubt they enjoy the idea of being constantly attacked, even if its just a watchman or a ___ militia or something.
Also, would like to see the sieges more like in the Miltia player, cuz I love hacking down doors and opening the gate to let my army in
5.Heir system- Was mention before on several occasions, but still holds viable, if only for a gains/loses in right to rule depending on how he/she is raised (as the only kingdom with an heir, it helps to have a good heir)
6.(!WARNING BLASPHOMY!) Adjust the flow of time a little. Have a year in Calradia be four months (seasons), so you can add seasonal changes into the world (also, it gives some reasoning to the lords age and #5. as well.
7.NPC's-Several things I would like to do to the unique NPC's
New Heros tied to the Sarranid Sultanate
Mercenary army's with captains (like how you start out, can also become vassals)
Bandit warlords (random gen characters with random gen stats like nervous man in murderer quest)
Your own claimant ( not 100% serious on that, but why the hell not
8. Quests- more variety never hurts in this department, and maybe even some personal quest from your heroes when they trust you enough.
9.Rebellion- Just because you don't champion the cause shouldn't mean that the claimants can't do anything, Viva Revolution!
10.Nationalism- Said before but make your own nation's troop/armor/etc.
Please be kind in your comments, this is my first time posting
