That's a rather long delay - is the game being shipped over on a galley?
I don't really care for a boxed copy of the game.  I am happy to just download the game (& manual) from a portal - like I have been doing  with the updates for the past year or so.

That's apparently Austrailia's date. For Africa you should add a few arbitrary years here and there. 2015?

The best bit about downloading is that once you've gotten the demo, you don't need to download it again.

I'd be pretty surprised if 1.00 wasn't put up my Taleworlds on the day of the US release. Games take time to print onto a CD, distribute etc, so odds are they'll have 1.00 finished at least a few days before release. Only thing stopping them from putting it up then would be the ramifications of store sales loosing out etc.

This also means that they'll have a few days to work on extra bug fixing while it ships

i think it's kinda a ****ty date to be released, cuz all the schools are starting so it might affect their school learning....which is a bad thing (most ppl play games are kids i think) i think a good game should be released just before holiday or after a BIG exam, so the kids can play it 24/7 and get sick, which is what i do.
i think i only got time to play it during holidays cuz i don't wanna mess up school and join the "homeless" group.

Perfect sense to me. What they will release as 1.0 v1 will get released to us, a few weeks early, so we can test it, find the kinks, and they can fix the bugs in 1.0 v1 and then sell the boxed version with 1.0 v2, so the bugs in the original 1.0 will be fixed.

The dev team has been known to release new versions a couple of days BEFORE major tests and exams in certain nations .
