So when 1.4 is final version with warlord edition, are you guys thinking to port Brytenwalda for M&B2 Bannerlord.
Ofcourse bit to early to announce anything as we know so little about it, but any plans for this great mod continue with new version?

And you aren't confused that by M&B2 Bannerlord absolutely other game, and won't have with the previous version not that the general in a technical part. It is possible to start to transfer with the same success Brytenwalda for Skayrim or Total War or War of the Roses

I'm sure someone will do it, you can tell M&B2 is going to be very similar to M&B why would they still be supporting M&B with updates adding new modding features. To me it's like they are testing things out.

Who's to say Bannerlord will not have features from other mods too, so it might be easy to reproduce. We will just have to wait and see.

They have been updating warband, since NW required an updated exe, so it was convenient to add in the latest dev build. As for MB2 - according to Ragnor (one of the devs) and an italian interview released in the MB2 sticky in the guildhall the modding system will be entirely overhauled and not feature any module system any more. As all major modding is currently done with the module system, you can safely say that MB2 will not be very similar to MB (from a modding perspective - obviously setting, fighting, etc will be similar).

Do note that this isnt bad news, in fact they have clearly stated that the modding abilities will be expanded rather than restricted.

For those interested

I wonder how that will work. I hope we can see Brytenwalda again for that as well. Though, if they have to start from scratch it may be a lot of work.

that interview has made me almost as excited for bannerlord info as rome 2 info... and thats saying something.

We can only hope that it won't be too difficult to port models made for Warband to Bannerlord.
