Now just for something else: we need a much larger crowd of people playing this mod.
I intially joined about 15 minutes ago and there where still 3 players online.
Now since I have things working they are gone!

I agree, we need a bigger crowd! And also a better server :mad:
 
Notice

When updating the mod, do not install over a previous version. Delete the old folder, then extract. Apparently there are some problems if you don't do it this way.

Most players are not well known with the forums and do not know how easy is to get a great mod like this.
If you like this mod and would like to see more servers and players then please tell your buddies and clanmates.
This mod deserves some serious advertisement!

Thanks! And yes, it's all done by me.

Only one thing to say: wow. Most modteams consist of at least 3 members, or all alone but then
they work much slower than you, but you are just a genius if you can do that, again: many thanks!

oh and by the way, can someone make signatures for this mod? or Harmast, can you perhaps make them? That would help to increase the popularity of this wonderful mod... I'd really like to make them myself, but my only experience of modding is moddeling so even signatures wont luck with me...
 
Well, a couple of days ago I said something about posting bugs here. Well, I haven't found any bugs when
I tested the new maps but I have some remarks: - at the map clearing: I really like how you managed to make this one, but there should
                                                                                                                  be more accessible places. Like the little 'treehouses'.
                                                                              - beacons: This map would be one of my favourites but I think there's a certain lack of detail, for example in the little village, there's too much empty space, making it easy for cavalry to break in. also, I can imagine some epic fighting there when you have fixed the weathersystem: defending one solely beacon when the enemy circles around you.. epic...

I also promised to add more screenshots for you to use, but my internetconnection is a little bit too slow at the moment.

Something can be said about balancing spears.
The damage is rather extreme compared to other trowing weapons, making it so that people will often spawn with 4 spears for easy one hit kills.
Trowing damage could be lower and more closer to damage from the stab, for when I stab something with my full weight and strenght behind it it will penatrate deeper then when I just trow it, giving the weapon back it's original purpose instead of turning it into an overpowered javalin.
I like that you can actually trow straight now, but (for example) maybe it can be modified so that bamboo spears are less accurate then jarids.

Most maps get more work put into them after the initial release, so once they are in the mod they are not forgotten but still worked on. That doesn't mean I won't be happy to get critique, on the contrary! The more comments the better :smile:

I was just in the server hoping to find some people but no luck.

The throwing spear is a great addition, it's something I've wanted for a long time. As it is now the spear actually travels through the air in slow motion, it almost looks like it's floating. I don't know if you have a way of adjusting projectile speed while in the air, if you do you should make it a little faster. Maybe it has to do with teh games physics engine and the size/weight of the spear.

Also I would love to port this small implementation to ther things, my native folder being one of them. Could you share the specific files that concern this?

This would increase the popularity of this little diamond I presume. I'd make them myself but alas, I don't know how and
