One of the most enjoyable things about Warband, even after all this time, has got to be riding down infantry as they flee from battle. Especially when you get a nice line of them

I love to throw spears into their backs just as they reach the edge of the map
there is nothing as satisfying as killing them at the point when they think they are safe

lol although a poor choice of words for the title of this thread i agree with the concept. 

i especially enjoy seeing a mounted troop tuck tail and run and then shoot his horse out from under him.  lol generally by the time he gets up I'm within range to crack his head with my mace and throw him in the slave cart.

This is one of the main reasons I love my horse archer. I ride through the battle out manoovering all my enermys puting countless arrows into them and then when they run away i charge through the rabble sniping them all off and then turn around and all I see is a line of dead bodies. Much more effecient then a sword and sooo fun when they running away. Also you cna get some rediculas shots because you can shoot at them from a distance while charging after them.

Whats wrong with riding guys? Do it all the time. The only tricky part is finding a saddle that fits just right.

I was testing out spears versus voulge versus lance doing regular attacks. And I just fought the first thing I came across: group of 7 farmers and 3 peasant women.

Anyway, my girlfriend walked up and was watching me from the door into the study and just afterwards  I gutted two of the peasant women running for their lives and she was like "what the hell kind of game is that"?
