Lost chance on marriage due to army formed I guess

I went and decided it’s time for my family to start. I charmed my way to a point to where I needed to talk to her again and charm another 3 shots.. but I passed 2 failed 1. So I waited for another shot, this time I get 2 shots, and I pass. Right after that , I wait one more day , but she formed an army.. I talked to her while she’s in her army, and I was given the option to ask about our marriage and she replied she can’t talk about it right now, I assumed cause she’s leading the army , so I waited till they disbanded. When she finally did, I went to talk to her about the marriage, I passed all tests previously, but my option is “ give me another chance “ … and now all the sudden it’s like I critical failed … she’s no longer available…

I play this game alot, so much that it starts to upset me on little things that make you loose something totally out of your control. Wasting time for nonsense to happen for no reason, I just turned the game off after this incident. Maybe tomorrow I’ll play it again, maybe I’ll just wait for an update.. this game damn sure ain’t Burger King , but it’s hard to tolerate unfinished work.

Same happened with me about 2 hours ago. I passed all checks and was told to speak with the clan leader to arrange the marriage. I spoke to her again and then all of a sudden I can't marry her now because it registered as me failing the persuasion checks. I spoke to her clan leader and I don't have the option to speak to him about marrying her or any one in the clan. It is super frustrating that this game does stupid things like this on a consistent basis.

Now I will have to lose about 3 hours of progress if I want to reload just to marry her. This game really has its moments of being pure asinine.

I’m glad it’s not just me then because that’s exactly what happened to me, just my future wife created an army after she told me to speak to Eregon of Battania, I go but he doesn’t even acknowledge a marriage.. not even brought up or I’m able to talk about it. So I go back to Lagunda or whatever her name is of Battania, she’s in army now, but won’t talk about marriage… so I wait till after army , then talk but nope!!! Even though I passed to get into her panties, the game gave me the second chance option, and she’s totally uninterested..

I fixed the problem without knowing I fixed the problem.

Once I gave up on my love, and knew there was no hope for me to ever marry her. I went and found the 3rd best Battania wife , and happen to be in eregons clan. I was like “ great, he didn’t acknowledge my first attempt, only my brother, but not me, he hates me “ …but I go anyway, I talk to him and low and behold, the option for my true love was there …

So apparently I had to seek another wife of the same clan to get my original one I wanted ..

I was going for Liena, I'm doing a pure Vlandian playthrough, so I'm only marrying Vlandian women and recruiting their troops only. I passed all my checks with Liena and then joined an army with her. Silvind was in there and so I spoke to her and seen the phrase, "So, um...about marrying you" and thought that was weird. I then spoke with Liena and seen that same option and clicked on it and she said, "Sorry but we are not compatible." I passed all checks with her and she was down to marry me and even told me to speak with Aldric. I reloaded and seen it wasn't there anymore, but then spoke to Aldric, the clan leader, and he would only let me marry Meganhelda. I reloaded and enabled cheat mode to force the marriage and the console said that our marriage together is not compatible. I deleted the character because I wanted to respec my focus points anyways.

If it happens again I'll definately keep what you did in mind!

maybe that’s something I can ask for console players, single player cheats. All we got is exploits at the moment lol … makes me not want to report exploits if they get fixed lol. Am I bad guy for that? I love the single player game but sometimes I just wanna have it my way.
