Lords Staying in the Dungeon.

Ok so I realised that when you put a lord into a castle that he can be found in the dungeon. Now that's all good and well but i was led to believe the royalty/wealthy were worth quite alot of money for ransom and as long as they weren't on the bad side with there captor where often kept in a semi-livable condition opposed to a damp dark dungeon... Just thought that it makes sense...
What I'm suggesting is:
-A locked room most probably in a tower (cliche i know) where the lord stays.
-Or a room that resembles a peasants bedroom with bars on the windows and what not.
For a lord to stay in whilst being held in the castle. There could alos be an option when placing a lord in a castle whether to put him in the dungeon or the keep/room/tower and this would cause a relationship modifier. Obviously going up if you placed him in the tower and down in the dungeon.

Yes but your reputation will increase with him if he atleast gets held with a bit of humanity not to mention the fact that it's realistic.

Well, the next time he gets out his rep will just decrease when you fight him... Also why would you want rep with enemy lords?

+1 because it' s logical that you can choose how you'd treat your prisoners. Be a **** to those that are a **** to you, but if you happen to have a pal on the other side then and he happens to surrender, to you, then you'd have to be quite a cock to throw him in some rathole of a dungeon.

Politics. Might be hard to understand, but I think OP might not want to be someone's lackey forever? Better to rule in Calradia than to be a Swadian grunt.

Ok think of it this way.
A pedophile kidnaps you.
Would you rather:
A)Be put in a damp, wet, smelly, rodet infested (exaggeration) dungeon.
or
B)An average room with a bed and some pieces of furniture.
Although take away the pedophile add a ravaging Medieval lord and it's just common courtesy.

Put them in good conditions:
You have to pay a small upkeep fee for them, to keep them comfortable, and you may lose (a small amount) reputation with the lord's enemies...

however, you get an honour bonus, increased reputation with that lord, and maybe a few other small concessions such as an increased ransom price.

Actually, it has been used by the bored and the lazy long before you joined.

And admins have little to no call regarding suggestions; only thing they do is either post their support like other members or move it to the King's Court if it has enough support. Don't know when the last time was that that happened.

+1 only if I can see a few regular troops in the dungeon when I go down there. I hate that it says i have 20 nords as prisoner in my castle but when I go in there I'm like where the hell is everybody. It would be a fine way to try and convince you to join them *Idea strikes* OH or even better, use the dungeon for interrogations.
