Lords not joining a battle

Howdy!
I've seen this topic many times in many places and yet noone EVER seemed to find a fix for it. So.. I'm asking here. Maybe I'm lucky. So:

I'm currently at day 300, helped claimant get the throne, now we're raiding rhodoks with ma as their marshall. But.. allied lords (around 8 of them) do no join me in a battle/siege.
I have positive relations with most of them. I have low controversy. They accompany me, and still. Noone of their troops spawn.
I verified the game files and still no luck.

Maybe you should talk to them and ask them to join you.
I don't remember if this option is available.
Or get them close to the castle as near as possible and they'll join you.
