Lords Not Changing Culture

I'm a mercenary for Swadia, building up money and making friends with their lords before I carve a piece of their lands for my own, and we went to war with the Sarranids. I saw a group of lords fighting so I joined them and noticed I was fighting against the Emir formally known as Count Rafard and his band of Swadian troops.

I didn't have a problem with this as I figured he was recently kicked out for some reason (Harlaus isn't the brightest candle) while we were at war on two fronts. We defeated Emir Rafard and he escaped to Shariz and while riding around the area I noticed he started to gain Swadian troops again. I thought they were supposed to change culture, I knew it wasn't right away but he was defeated and unless its the handful of men from the dungeons I don't see where he could get them from.

I would appreciate you putting in a ticket at the assembla site and hosting a copy of your save game on the ticket.  That would help me confirm if something isn't working right and what the issue is a little easier.  Thanks for the report.

Hey Windy, DoW and Anyone else who reads this,

I decided this was the best place to post, instead of making a new thread. Although I will if you think it would be better!

I want to start a debate, well more pose a question. Is it just me, or are there possibly to many lords. I haven't played in several days as I wait for v0.15 to come out, but in my current game Lords change WAY to often. Every couple of days some lord defects to another Nation which is extremely annoying.

So the question of my debate is "Do you think there should be less Lords within the Realm? or are people generally happy seeing Lords chop and change allegiances based upon some factors.

Anyway, I'd love to hear your idea's.

There should be a fix for this coming with v0.15 created by Zsar & JuJu70.
Indictment Death Spiral Fix (v0.15)
This should cut down on the amount of lords defecting and indictments due to high controversy from defecting continually.

As for how many lords should appear within a faction, I feel like 20 is a good number.  It provides a good range of elder nobles, medium power nobles and lesser nobles as children to the elders.  Changing the number of nobles by anything less than 4 would probably feel negligible and anything more than 6 would likely have a strong impact on game-play when it comes to how well cities can be taken by a faction due to a reduced campaign size.

Thanks for the response, well since you are adding something in the game to see less defecting I'll wait to play with that before deciding whether or not it improves. My thoughts on to many where based on the fact that they kept defecting which means that they where not getting what they wanted from their current king which would mean that there are too many Lords per realm.

But, we'll see.
