Lords leavin prisoner without any interaction of main character.

Right now, the lords I take prisoner to use as bargain chip are being bartered out of my party automatically why?

I am the ruler of my own kingdom and no parties are roaming right now, why am I not being asked for the trade or anything like that?

Seems very "linear"

Yeah, the dialogues aren't in yet. I captured King Caladog himself and I put him in my dungeon to have some medieval "fun". I left him to rot then I came back couple of days later. The filthy barbarian is gone. It was kinda dissapointing because I was expecting the KINGDOM to ask for a ransom not some RANDOM GUY IN A TAVERN. They have to add that back in. It's kinda immersion breaking.

I mean, I get it's not implemented but just releasing them away is kinda a bad choice, also, you get declared war upon without any prior notice, I had 2 castle, no capitals taken, I was the least threatening player on the map and 2 factions I wasn't working on, either fighting or even in their zone, just decalred war on me instead of keeping on fighting aginst the 2 major enemies they already had. why ? Give us a little bit of a fighting chance.

I feel that if you dont join one of the 3 big faction when time to decide what to do with the newly reformed banner you are pretty much bound to lose.

Might just put this aside and give some time for tuning patches to come out.

Bro you get a big TOOOOT when you get declared war upon and you get a big circle with a sword on it. Just be more careful! That's the problem you were the least threatening so you were weak but if they already had two wars thats stupid AI. They are working on it though. It's all good.

You are right it would make sense to get rid of me, but how can I grow from really small to a semi major faction if, as soon as I start implemeting myself, everyone decalres war on me. But it would make sense in a tactical point of view to just get rid of me right away.

I see the declaration, what I meant was that there was nothing like a messenger comming telling me yo, these guys will soon decalre war on you, you should pay tribute or wtv. But I'm really just putting it out there, I know this is beta, game is great still. Had a blast!

I'm not sure but I'm going to assume you small experience with Warband. In Warband you created your kingdom when you had that GOLDEN opportunity. Looks like you have a lot of frontiers and your enemies are thinking "Oh, I might as well while I'm in the neighbourhood!" and they attack you.

I believe you are right, but with the current state of kingdom being locked behind grasping that golden moment, I feel like you can't do without being able to create armies.

But yeah, I might have been too quick. I dont know.

Man, I remember my first kingdom in Warband. I ****ed off from the Rhodok by flipping off King Graveth then took some backwater, barbarian castle from the Khergits near the mountains. No lords, no towns, furthest settlements of Sarranids and Khergits right next to me. I'm telling you: GOLDEN.
Maybe you should save scum and if that doesn't work, tough-luck bro. Just start over, get your finances back by joining another kingdom then starting again!
