lords and garrison

i gave bunduk and firentis castles and they arent garrisoning any troops, they have small armies but arent putting a garrison into the castle, what should i do?

oh and other lords wont like you for giving bundruk castle

You should give the castle a decent garrison before give it away. It take quite some time for your companion to appear with his army. And you should only give castle to noble birth companion to avoid losing relation with other lord.
