Lords after finishing off a faction?

I'm at a point where I've started my own kingdom and have almost conquered the Rhodoks but I am wondering what happens to their lords when I do?  Do they join me as vassals?  Or are they gone forever?

Once they lose all of their fiefs, they either jump ship and join another faction, or, if you have done so, imprisoned within your jails. They may randomly decide to join you if they like you I guess, otherwise you have to convince them.
