They will try to escape. Then they join another faction, or leave Calradia for good.

Unless they escape, they stay there and rot. However, if you get the Diplomacy mod, one of your staff gives you the option to release prisoners.

You are lucky. I am stuck with 25 Rhodok  (and some Swadian ones)Lords and they can't even display all at once in my dungeons, max is 16. I am about lock them for good and throw the key in the well, and they still mock me like 'You defeated Lord AnyName, but with me you will sweat blood!' Dude, you forgot your own whereabout. I wish we could hang them or even recruit them as our (very distant) vassals, behead them, anything but let them rot down there. Its...unhuman  Next war, I will siege some distant enemy little castle, and exile them all in there and leave zero defenders. That will do them for good I Hope when the owner comes  to take back the castle.

To be fair, if they didn't have a high chance of escaping, every war would be over in a few days as the player defeats and captures every single enemy lord. :P

It is. It'd be best if the capture rate changed to 100% while you had that quest active, so you only have to defeat one army and not eight.

If you really want to get rid of them in native, you could put all your good gear away, garrison your entire army, send all your companions on intelligence gathering missions, take all the lords in your party, and go get defeated. Or you could do all that except for the getting defeated part and they'll escape but that takes longer.

Prisoners are dragging my map speed down, aren't they? :?
I mean, I know the normal prisoners do, but the lords too?

I took over Swadia and a little bit of Sarranid Sultanate and all the lords joined other kingdoms and now i have a big problem!!! there is joust too many of them I only have 8 lords!!!
Why don't other lords wish to join me???
and some of the lord are in my kingdom as well as in the other kingdom! How is that possible???

The most annoying thing is that YOU have a 100% chance of being captured after losing a battle, while other lords have a measly 20% chance of being captured.

I think its 30% now actually. At least, that's what my Native was set to when I opened it with TweakMB. I've now got it set to 40%, which I find works well.

@ WEinde: offtopic, what is that little 'perm banned' picture above your avatar pic?  :?:

First, he was bragging about foolishly relaying the status of his illicitly acquired copy of the game in the Town Hall/Tech Support section. Then he chose to create 2 subsequent "new" accounts (dupes) to try and determine how long his permanent ban would be...and had those both permanently banned as well. The second was particularly comical as he pulled the "my friend was wondering" gambit.

Thanks for the clarification!
C'mon, people still pirate mount&blade? The game sells for beans FCS!
The 'registered owner' badge should be the size of a thrashcan cover :)
