First time I have ever got the message that after being indicted for treason a lord has gone into exile outside Caladria. Jarl Nelag was chased out of the game by King Ragnar. Why did he not just join another faction and can he ever come back?

If hes been in all of the factions before and indicted for treason then yes, he has nowhere to go. All the factions hate him. If not then he should go to another faction tho.

Nelag is not an original Nord Lord so,he has been indicted for treason by many other Kingdoms BAD BAD Lord...

He's more like the playing ball of greater powers. Lords which deflect/get charged for treason are normally having a high controversy and therefore not likely to get a new fief. Therefore, they begin to hate their liege, deflect/get kicked out and the circle continues. Definitly not funny, unless you were the first one to toss someone out

What happens to enemy lords when you conquer all of Calradia? Do they all vanish or do some/all of them join you?

I find it much harder to recruit enemy lords as the factions get fewer simply because most of them camp in their new King's Capital, and refuse to come out unless they're in large packs.

I always get the "Speak to me when we're alone" message from them.

A quite effecient solution to this is to destroy the faction they're in. The lords who like you will join you (if you got fiefs without an owner), the rest will split up on the existing factions. I assume that once you conquer all of calradia, they'll go and leave the land. But I can't really prove this, I find conquering the whole of calradia rather tiresome
