Looting Villages...

Ok so i formed my little army.... some 100ish troops in the only castle i own and some 70s in my Warband. It seems that the half wages for garrisoned troops works  fine now so i havent had problems upkeeping my little army (2 villages). My party has several of the "Killing inocents and looting villages is a NONO..." companions...

So i think "ok its time... im ready to go for a gal...." i play the courtship game and im rdy to marry her. I ask her hand and her father asks me 18k in gold...

Being at war, defending my fiefs, helping my faction, getting money to keep my army AND raising 18k seems too hard for me and my little army... so i try the illegal way, and start looting villages, of course enemy villages... but then i start getting the BOOHOO from some of my companions...

So my question is even if im looting villages from an enemy faction... my companions will end leaving me if i continue? Is there any sort of warning before they leave?

Thanks

If you must keep them, then you ought to pace your looting. Spread it out maybe once a week or something. Otherwise, I'd look into tournaments--garrison all your troops and run around the map with a small party to tour. It's my favorite part about m&b's sandbox--reminds me of Heath Ledger in A Knight's Tale.

Companions tend to object or quit right after the given action so there's no warning earlier than that. You can talk to them and ask how the state of things is going and so long as everything is happy (content does not work), I'd say you're safe to try something again.

If they need time to cool off, send them on an intel mission for a few days haha

just staition your Objecting companions to a castle or town (or village with manor). Then go and pillage and loot to your liking, and retrieve your companions afterwards... What happens in calradia stays in calradia

Whenever I've tried to station my companions at a castle or town the "station a garrison" function won't let me.

wrong companions. you have to choose right characters for the job... bahestur, borcha and alike

..wait, I haven't been married yet, we have to pay a DOWRY?  The chick is supposed to have that...bah.  If we're a chick and get married does that mean WE get money?

Probably not Snall.. Learn this at once: No one really likes you in this game.. They're all out to get you and exploit you.

off topic a little?? they should have called it dower instead. it depends on the culture

Would it work to send those companions that complain about looting villages/raiding caravans on a fact finding mission for a few days while you get up to mischief? Assuming you don't feel it absolutely necessary to have them in your party 24/7.

Was thinking about trying this but no one in my current group could care less.
