Right, I'm pretty sure I get the point behind the quest, seems like a fairly straight-forward message, but after quite some time, I'm questioning whether I'm on the right tracks.

After pillaging ~18 villages, at least one from each enemy faction, I'm wondering if Krug will ever be happy with the amount of poor villagers I've put to the knife. He never made me kill too many valley bandits in the earlier quest, but he seems to enjoy the slaughter of innocent farmers. Am I being too hasty? I thought the quest would have ended long ago, am I doing something ridiculously wrong in pillaging hostile villages?

Thanks for the help in advance, apologies if this has come up before.

If you had bothered reading the dialog between you and krug you would've known that you need to raid 20 villages.

Erm, yes, in a less hostile way of saying it, keep it up. Just 50 + more innocents to slaughter :P.

was not my intention to say it in a hostile way, O well

And it wasnt an apology

Yeah, I suppose reading what he said might have helped, I just tend to skip the chats these days, comes from the years of skipping predictable conversations in native.

Munx, no worries, apology accepted.

Cheers.

The idea behind this quest is to

A. Get Rich

B. Basically have to travel a lot of the map to pillage that many towns.

Mainly, I wanted the player to have to take a risk and really leave his homeland if he wanted to complete it.  20 Villages almost guarantees you have to travel pretty far.  I guess you could just wait for one village to keep being rebuilt and then burn it down though...

And at the end of the day, that village would be the 1st village in M&B history to actually MIGRATE!! Weird bug huh?

I just looted a few villages I believed were safe several times yeah. 20 different Villages would be a lot harder.

Ah, a fair enough strategy.  I'm too impatient to wait on them to be ready to pillage again.  :D

I really liked that quest.  I never pillaged villages in native, basically cuz I'm just a nice guy, so when Krug told me to do that I was, "Whoa, this guy really means it!!!"  That's when I realized I'm no longer a court bred Vaegir, more concerned about future income from captured villages, but an angry bloodthirsty Feron savage who's only diplomacy is carved out of human flesh.
