Hi

Looking for any info on shield designs at around the 13th century for the Old Prussians and other western Baltic tribes.

edit>Let me clarify by designs I mean what they painted on their shields.

Any info on their artistic themes that I could build off of would also be helpful.  Things like preferred colors, geometric patterns, animals, etc...

Can anyone verify this?

"Their clothing was generally bleached, undyed or white, white tunics being banned as 'heathen' by the Teutonic Knights in the 13th century."

I'd advice you to check Crusaders Kings game by Paradox
It features all heraldry for all counties in Medieval Europe.
Including Samogita,Prussians,Pruthenians and other Baltic chiefdoms.
About use of coat-of-arms on shields
*Often, entire villages or military groups were granted the same coat of arms irrespective of family relationships.*
