There needs to be a update to the game where you can select captains in the party menu. Then be able to lock that so the captain will not be removed from that slot unless they're killed or I removed them.
Had issues with joining battles where my archer captain (no horse) takes command of my horse archers and just dashes off towards the enemy on foot... same happens for others when joining large battles it just picks who the hell it wants to be captain rather asking me who I want.
Happened when battling the battania's with the sturgian's. 527 vs 507
So either a new update for the party menu to select captains or when you help someone in a battle it should still go into the pre-deployment part of the battle.
