Line battle :D

Just curious here....

Do we do line battles??? I would lovelovelovelove LOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEE to do a line battle in this mod... the rifles are so much more accurate...

I mostly play the Mount and Musket Battalion mod now -im in the 95th regiment of foot(riflemen )- and the muskets and rifles there are slow even though they are accurate to the period. Do we have any schedule for lines, and if not, then perhaps we should set a date for periodic battles and set commanders and such??

The population pool is still too low for some real line battles. Its a fairly young mod, give it some time.

I think if we gather all the reigments - there are like what 50 something of them if we combine the members??- we can pull it off.....At least 2 for each side.

There are 68 in total, with the 7th holding more than half of that.
So 7th v all could be kinda fair, if we could get a big enough server.

Hmmm.... well a max server for me can hold 66... and undoubtedly at least 5 people are going to be missing. so I think we can do it that way. We could do like england v prussia or something historical if anyone knows any faction that went to war with Prussia in the late what like 18th century?

Medieval Simulation Group is always doing formations in all the historical eras, including the 7 years war. We are negotiating about merging with the 7th group but we have a no competitive policy so anyone can join as long as they fit our criteria.

And also I can host a 100 men server with no problems. It can't be 24/7 though.

But yeah maybe but we still need it to be even.... Is it ok if the 7th poses as another regiment or something?? Im pretty sure they will have the most men so they are the most influential

Well prussia had the most votes with britain and france coming behind it. Im sure we can maybe comebine france into england and make them a different nation so they fit historically...

Uhm. LtSpearing. This is a 7 years war mod. Around 1760 and you keep blabbing about Napoleonic wars. And why are you pasting wikipedia? To prove Prussia and Britain were enemies? As Hibiki said: SEVEN YEARS WAR. Austria/France/Russsia/Sweden/Spain against Britain/Prussia/Portugal/Hanover.

Well, not during the invasion of Russia, Napoleon had some Prussian guys with him then, but pretty sure no British were involved, and the Prussians backstabbed him as soon as he started to retreat.
