Limping, bleed, dropping weapons and other fine suggestions

Make lances break on landing a hit - Is a good suggestion if it's a high damage kill hit, the lance will most likely break or be stuck in the enemy soldier. Some other suggestions in the OP could also work well under the right circumstances.

That's the whole point dude. The suggestions I made are purposefully formulated to sound good on paper, but experienced players will easily notice they are nothing but a chore to cope with.

I mean, bleed? Why not, would add more depth to combat, would let players be more immersed in the cruelties of the medieval combat, right? Not really. In described form it would provide nothing but frustration from being in a state that will result in an eventual death no matter the player's actions and the decreased damage I suggested would only provide frustration of having to cope with even more inconsistent damage output and "omg I would have killed him If I didn't have bleed" moments in general.

The lance suggestion is also bad on purpose. All it would bring to the gameplay is being forced to travel to some lance dispensing point after each kill, turning the cav into a 1 arrow archer that can't even recover that one arrow from the ground.

All remaining suggestions under disguise of realism and immersion bring nothing but unrewarded complexity, frustration and chores to the gameplay. Many of them also commit an unforgivable sin of taking control away from the player. Putting the player in a situation in which he can do nothing but look at his character getting slaughtered is a no-go zone of game desing. Bannerlord unfortunately has plenty of such spots.

Despite making warband such an amazing game TW seemed to forget over these 8 years about such basic design principles and we as a community are going crazy over how is this even possible for such talented team.

You know what they should add too? When you die in battle the game should automatically block your steam account from playing because your character is dead and yeah, realistically speaking you will not be able to continue the game
That would be so cool!

How about this: when your character sees a lot of enemies (let's say 2), they get scared and their palms get sweaty. Perhaps their knees get weak, too (movement speed penalty). Anyway, because of this sweaty grip, they'd have a small percentage chance of dropping their weapon in battle. Moreover, while they may look calm and ready on the surface, their arms could be heavy from the anxiety of confronting a numerically superior enemy. This would make their swings slower and reduce their effectiveness in a fight, balancing the game.

If this seems like too much work, maybe just add a fainting mechanic. I envision it as something like this: your soldier sees an intimidating enemy, faints, and takes a random amount of damage to the head from the fall. This would also add more viability to the corpse checker playstyle, which I see as a win.
Funniest post I've seen in these forums

After each captain mode we should be given shovels to bury our dead soldiers. Also we should have to pay our soldiers real money or they will mutiny
