Life, marriage and death

I've noticed that there are already posts regarding that, but I want to point out several things in here:

  • Nobles are dying out and new ones are not moving into adulthood. For me while being thousands of hours into the game, it will soon become unplayable, so I'd love you guys to put it somewhere among priorities if possible.
  • There is a bug while choosing a wife. Phaea sent me to get approval from her father Crotor... who is dead. Either its a bug or that's a mean way of dumping me.
  • I know the education is soon to be the thing in Bannerlord and my children will become less rubbish. With that in mind can you PLEASE allow redistribution of the perks of the already born children? I have 8 - each with 0s in every stat and I really don't want to start the game anew.
  • I don't know have anyone mentioned that but marrying into another house could give you a significant influence discount on calling the lords and ladies into your army. Simple to implement and gives it all a meaning
Cheers everyone!

+1 for the first and the last point, and LOL for the second! ?

It would indeed be cool if it mattered more which clan you marry into: you could improve relations with people by making them your in-laws, but also be drawn into their conflicts. This would also provide an incentive to choose a bride wisely, instead of just marrying the woman with the biggest stats.

Well, if you play long enough your clan will die out. As you can't get your relatives married, so they can start breed new warriors :p
Unless there is a mechanic I haven't figured out when getting told to go present yourself, after you suggest an alliance through marriage with someone.

This is already the case but in a different way. When you marry into a clan you increase the relationship with the clan members/clan. The increased relationship has a direct influence on "Influence cost" when gathering an army (better relationship -> lower cost).

We will work on making this more clear to the players though. Thank you for your suggestions @Archival and the funny comment in regards to your marriage proposal (this will be looked into as well!). We've had quite a laugh with that one around the office.
