Right. As many of you might have noticed, or found out in this thread, 0.700 includes something called "edit mode" which, among other things, allows you to edit maps. If you've made something and want to share or discuss your creations with others, or perhaps praise someone's unrivalled arcitechtural skills, this is the place to do it.

To any mods who see this you can move my thread to this forum if you think it's more appropriate.

Why didn't you post that in your thread? :???:

Anyway, I'm working on some rather modest constructions, maybe I'll post a few pics tomorrow and host them if anyone wants to try them out.

I made a retarded looking tower, seems like theres no limit how high you can go, im a scryscraper fan myself, and one day ill make a real building into M&B when i get the textures for it...

If you build it too high the calradian gods will cast it down and mix up our languages... Im sure I heard that somewhere.

edit: eh, I think we are getting yelled at now for not posting a screenshot.

No, the policy is different in this one, discussion is encouraged as you can see from the first post. Thumbnailing large images would still be a good thing. *Nudges Cataphract*

Cataphract, that reminds me of the monolith from 2001: A space odyssey. And I imagine that a spiral staircase around the tower would be simple to construct, but no computer-controlled soldier would be able to climb it.

the edit mode got an update in .701 now you can add weapons and armor, also you can see what your about to put next.

Arr.. I be workin on a new castle. Its looking nice. Its got the standard fort walls around it, except the walls are extremely high. A staircase embedded in the inside walls of the fort can bring you the the top of the walls, then a tower protudes from the center of the fort, and you can ascend a staircase that encircles it, im still putting details, and im thinking of placing a courtyard at the top and a few rooms in the center of the tower. Ill put up pictures when it gets near completion.

Here's some remodelling of Zendar i've been doing.

The training room.

Horses.

Trainer's equipment.

Tournament master's equipment.

Note the equipment hidden away in the corner.

I think I killed M&B, I made a "stair case" but because the actual stairs icon has no density I made it out of chests, and well lets just say I made a map with 400+chests on it, and they went really high, but sadly broke somthing called static buffer memory
