I have the trial version .808 and i know that once my character reaches level 6 I can't use it anymore. I have already accomplished that with 2 characters (big deal I know ) and with my third I tried something new. I reached level 6 and then 7 in the same fight

So my question is:

Has anyone else done that and (like I expect) was the character rendered unusable or (like I'm hoping) was the character still usable because technically it is not level 6?

And yes, I know its a stupid question.

That would be illegal, I suppose. So don't try it. Just buy the game.

Technically that's exploiting the game and asking people to help you get around the system... which isn't a very nice thing to ask, considering that old father armagan needs all that money to feed his family of 40 children, not to mention all the poor starving orphans he looks after, and all the people he gives shelter to... and the kittens he rescues off the street! So in trying to get around paying for the game, you condemn all those people to starvation!

Besides, don't you think such a simple exploit would have been picked up by now?

I don't know if it works anymore or not, but back when you could just stay in Zendar and level up as much as you wanted on the arena fights. If you left the town, however, the game would save and exit.
The levels aren't really worth anything if you can't move, so you'd probably get bored of it around level six anyway =p

So,

Yes,

Eventually

No.
Unless you bought the game, of course ::razz:

Hugglez!

Yup, as soon as the game checks the character level you'll get the buy or restart screen.

I found the fun way that if you complete a quest like the Nobleman one at, say, level four, you'll shoot up by about three levels and instantly lock your trial game.  Sob.

And about five minutes after that most people buy the game!

That's what I did. I ran to get my wallet. I usually don't run in the house. Best 12 bucks I ever spent - bar none.

Me to, except I bought it in class at school and had to pay 14 dollars.

Do you fools realise that there is a big ban hammer smackdown for people who post flames and unhelpful, misleading, smart alecky comments on this apprentice board? Some of you should read the board specific rules again. You can also ask Djnad about the nice temp-ban he received for his infractions.

If you don't have anything useful to post, you shouldn't be posting in this board

I'm just giving you a friendly reminder that comments like send me $20 and I'll teach you how to beat the system are probably not appropriate, regardless of what you think the original poster is.

I have a way to beat the system if you are willing to spend $20 (or you can pay me $20)

The first part is just telling someone to purchase the game. The 20 bucks for himself is sarcasm pure and simply. The ability to understand humor is a wonderful thing.
