I really hope youre trying to fix the armies problems with food supplies for the love of Soon, because they are still starving each other to death in ridiculous ways...Just saying for the 3-4th time now

Yes i know brother i corrected itSoon

Thats more of a problem with how the battanias built that army an army with higher numbers is going to starve quicker but i think that most lords usually bring around 100 food into an army its good enough to keep their party but after a few not even days of sharing the army is gone i think an army should disband as quick as it cant if it starts to starveWell the thing is that i saw an army of 3000 in an glorious march then starved em selves down to like around 100ish then it disbanded so it was both funny and sad at the same time xD
yeah its a problem. They had or was talking about an fix before that lords without food where moving out from it to go resupply but im not sure what happened to that one. also they need to fix the army going resupplying at nearest town when they are out. They do at times but sometimes they just march past villages an towns starving em selves even early onThats more of a problem with how the battanias built that army an army with higher numbers is going to starve quicker but i think that most lords usually bring around 100 food into an army its good enough to keep their party but after a few not even days of sharing the army is gone i think an army should disband as quick as it cant if it starts to starve
Interesting for a new title. ill call my lobster friends so we can talk with the lawyersBannerstarve.

They still do that but its a lot rarer since you dont wanna get caught out in the middle of enemy territory and most armies in my campaigns seem to be created near the borders but they still try and resupply themselves which why you sometimes find armies of 600-700 raiding villages its usually due to foodyeah its a problem. Yeah its fair enough that they wouldn't risk such decision. Well mine is mixed...Some are created on the far other side in the home country some others by the boarders...But its situational of course depending on borders and war. But still some marches very long ways but my guess its because of the starting general and his/her owner of castles and tows in the regions to i guess of which will become the starting posThey still do that but its a lot rarer since you dont wanna get caught out in the middle of enemy territory and most armies in my campaigns seem to be created near the borders but they still try and resupply themselves which why you sometimes find armies of 600-700 raiding villages its usually due to food

Its not that they dont risk its usually because an army goes to siege they calculate the parties around them in an army and on their own and since sieges get grouped up by so many parties they dont risk it of course the general risk still comes into play but not as much as the one for parties near themYeah its fair enough that they wouldn't risk such decision
Well that party is just gonna waste time and risk the whole army when it starves right in the middle of the siege of which happened couple of times as the enemies showed up as they where halved sitting in prolonged time throwing catapults (even if its effective to reduce the defenders)...But yeah i understood that to as they do calculate the siegeIts not that they dont risk its usually because an army goes to siege they calculate the parties around them in an army and on their own and since sieges get grouped up by so many parties they dont risk it of course the general risk still comes into play but not as much as the one for parties near them

Its gonna bring down the army with him and it calculates that too but the ai still thinks the risk is too great due to the army being potentially attacked without them not to mention the on top factor on the risk of leaving so they see staying as the best optionWell that party is just gonna waste time and risk the whole army when it starves right in the middle of the siege...but yeah i understood that to
Interesting point of view. Well they really need to look it thru and reprogram the AI strategy and Steward thinking...But for that only one can give us the answers that we seek.....Soon brotherIts gonna bring down the army with him and it calculates that too but the ai still thinks the risk is too great due to the army being potentially attacked without them not to mention the on top factor on the risk of leaving so they see staying as the best option

I think a little redo could work but the ai strategy just works just fine the part that isnt working is how much food they buy they usually try to buy enough food to get by but when in an army they dont visit settlements as much so its harder for them to get more food you as the player endgame hoard a lot of food or at least i do the ai does not it takes what it needs to survive and usually doesnt go any extra but the one true answer is Soon he shall answer us SoonInteresting point of view. Well the AI is still doing stupid mistakes trapping and repositioning em selves against an larger army to be trapped. Sure they should sometimes be ambushed but when they are deliberate going back and forward against em without anyone on the other side they are just asking for it. However its better then it was before thanks to Soon. And yes they need to be able to plan ahead on the journey but still there will be unplanned events on the way of which should come natural to start em starving if they dont have anywhere around to resupply them at the time. So with that said starving shouldn't come early but later on their campaigns, so this is something prio they really need to look in to for a start. But it could also be that you joined an Army that didnt invited you and perhaps that could conflict with some calculations to (even if i joined ex the Kings posse with an invite and he (someone i ment) starved us at the meeting point ^^) Shouldnt be a problem though if you already have food to the table when you joinedI think a little redo could work but the ai strategy just works just fine the part that isnt working is how much food they buy they usually try to buy enough food to get by but when in an army they dont visit settlements as much so its harder for them to get more food you as the player endgame hoard a lot of food or at least i do the ai does not it takes what it needs to survive and usually doesnt go any extra but the one true answer is Soon he shall answer us Soon
