When I read this, I thought he was going to rent/lend the game to someone... Simple word confusion. "I'm going to lend this game to the poor orphan kids on the corner for 4$ a day."

Not religious, but I do tend to give up luxuries after celebrating carnaval. Thing is, carnaval is a bit overrated, though going to work in mail, with a sword and axe is funny.

Alex, I just realised, a celibacy pact wouldn't even work. Wikipedia: "Celibacy generally refers to sexual activity in the narrow sense. Masturbation is generally not discussed but is implicitly taken as not representing a violation of a vow of celibacy."

Your religious beliefs are personal to you, and if you require praise or affirmation from your peers to justify your decisions then you really shouldn't bother with it at all.

I think the point of Lent (guessing as I never actually knew wtf it was until now) is to make a sacrifice of a luxury you usually use/have/are accustomed too, OR quitting doing something bad (like smoking). Mount&Blade alone is sort of a free ticket, sure, you're likely to miss the game and maybe contemplate suicide so you can be reunited with it in heaven or wherever, but something with more meaning would be better. Like no video games. Or you will give up procrastination and do the things you want and need to do.

As I have yet to get ot that point, i don't understand how people can live without having some tiem to do the things they want to. Like more than two hours.

Spilling god's seed, bullocks, over population is a problem that's only going to get worse.

Oh, I do the things I WANT to -- ie, martial arts, horse riding, etc... it just leaves me very little time to study for my degree, between work and hobbies.
