Summary: Basically what the top says. I'm not saying this as a history buff, but the weapon on their back and their shield still needs to be changed. Right now the 'Pila' on their back is the one handed polearm version, *not* the thrown weapon. And they have a polearm unit. It just feels very scattershot. The Trained Infantryman has javelins, but then the Veteran has a long spear, and then the Legionnaire has a short pila. Just...feels like someone is confused over where to go with them.
Oh, and switch them to Reinforced Oval shields. This isn't me trying to be...all about history, this is actually in-game lore. *small spoilers* When speaking to Rangvald about the banner, he mentions how the Sturgian and Empire 'shield walls clashed'. ...But none of the Empire forces use big shields.
So change the Pila (One hand polearm) to the Pila (2 ammo javelin) and give them reinforced oval shields. Feels...more correct. In my two cents.
