Learning Finnish

The only reason I could say Finland is rotten is because of the racism. A lot of people don't like immigrants, mostly swedes and black people.

Well, you could undestand that sentence, that swedes and black people don't like immigrants.

And it's rather ironic. We don't like swedes (at least most of us), but Finland is bilingual country; we speak finnish and swedish. All of us.
How well then is a different matter.

I don't speak swedish.

We all speak swedish, because it's a compulsory subject in finnish schools.

Most (In my opinion) don't like it, and that's why we don't speak it, or can't speak it.

But in theory, every Finn speaks swedish.

You gotta see Gothics in my country then talk about them. They will let you jiggle their asses for a cigarette. One of my friend said that. I guees 2 or 3 monts ago, there was a concert in Istanbul, at the end of the concert; while was for his gf a gothic girl came to him then said "May you give a breathe of your weed so i ll let you jiggle my ass". In my country everything is so ...... up.

Eh, in Canada, almost every girl is like that, gothic or not. I am sure your country is alot less ****ed up than mine! 

Anyway, I think it's cool that someone actually wants to learn Finnish. I am Finnish-Canadian myself, so I don't know all that much, and learned all of what I know from parents/grandparents/metal/websites.

I would like to move to Finland one day, since i'm "technically" a native, just one that's never been home... Oh well. I would say I hate my current country. North America is likely the most corrupt continent in the world. I don't hate my life though, because really, your life is what you make it, and out in the country here it isn't too bad. Finland, on the other hand, has (according to the wiki) the lowest crime rate, and lowest amount of corruption, not to mention the best melodic death metal.  Also add to that great people, a great countryside, as much snow as I get here if not more, and so many other things, Finland is indeed heaven!

I do listen to metal, mainly death/melodic death/folk/heroic folk/black metal. You know, all the good stuff. I think the whole goth-thing is stupid, overused, lame, and well, lame?

Anyway, I should really go on topic, as this post is about learning Finnish, not my opinions on things.

Honestly, there isnt' much to learn online, aside from individual words, I would say try to find a professional language teacher... thing...

Well thats true, Finland is very good place to live. But it isn't perfect. We got very strict laws and high taxes and stuff..

If you want to roleplay a nordic warrior, you'd better myabe learn swedish or other gibberish they speak in scandinavia.

That's because I connect nordic warriors with vikings.

Vikings were probably Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Icelandic.

No idea,  maybe $50 - $70.
Plus they only sell booze in Alko.

Alko is the national alcoholic beverage retailing monopoly in Finland. Essentially, it is the only store in the country which retails beer over 4.7% ABV, wine (except in vineyards) and spirits.
